Practice
Most of the time I seem to understand the importance of practice. It seems better to do something more than once. I try to do something & then I do not fulfill my aim (trying but not getting the proper result) I think this is mostly how I would describe living. People who have been around the block a few times are pretty honest about this. It sounds like a downer but it isn’t. & if you don’t believe me, go ask someone old what life is like. They will say it is a lot of the same things over & over. But I bet you they’ll be grinning as they say it. Maybe cuz they ran out of energy to spend getting discouraged. But maybe cause they figured something out. My theory is that there is joy in practice. That joy exists not because I succeed at something. Not because I got a trophy. Not even because I hope. I feel good because I practice & I can recognize my improvement. Maybe it is how my body expresses itself or maybe something shifts in my brain. Maybe I choose to wrap my head around something differently.
